NOTEOffi ce Web Application Services is now a separateproduct and no longer

provided as a service application. Web analytics serviceapplication is now managed

as a key component of the search service application.

Followingare descriptions of each service application:

➤Access Services—允许和office Access进行交互(Access 2013客户端或浏览器)，创建、编辑、查看。.

➤Access Services 2010—允许使用Access2010和2013 Office客户端继续维护SP2010Access service applications，但不允许创建新的应用。

App Management Service — 允许从内部的App目录安装app或者发布SP商店。

Business Data Connectivity Service— The Business Connectivity Service (BCS) enables

you to uploaddata (BDC) models that define interfaces of other enterprise line-of-business

(LOB) systems andenables connectivity to those systems.

Excel Services — 允许从浏览器查看Excel或交互。

Machine Translation Services—提供文件和站点的自动翻译。

Managed Metadata Service — 允许管理SP2013的术语层次结构、关键字、社会标签；处理跨站点集内容类型发布。

PerformancePoint — 配置和监视PerformancePoint，BI报表应用服务。

PowerPoint Automation Service—允许把PowerPoint转换为其他根据格式(反向好像也可以？)

Search Service — 搜索不解释

Secure Store Service —访问企业级应用或后端系统时做凭证映射。

State Service — 对用户会话期间的数据处理进行零时存储

Usage and Health Data Collection—提供farm级别的存储和健康情况，还可以根据这些信息提供报表功能。

User Profile — SP核心应用服务，提供My site、My links、社会追踪、profile pages、个人标签和notes、其他社区功能。

Visio Graphics Service — 允许在浏览器端查看、交互、刷新Visio

Word Automation Services — 允许在浏览器查看和编辑word,还能用于文档转换。

Work Management Service —This Work Management Service enables key user-related

information to beaggregated to a central location. The service supports a provider model to

enable othersystems to leverage this service

Subscription Setting Service—This is the key enabling component of the Multitenancy(多组织管理)features provided by the SharePoint 2013platform.
