Decimal (p,s)
MIN_DEC_DIV_3 is set as no. then 31-p+s-s'

被除数的精度(precision)为p,小数位(scale)为s;除数的精度为p',小数位位s'。

被除数C1为decimal(31,2)而除数为2.51,也就是p=31,s=2,s'=2。所以结果的小数点位数为 31-31+2-2=0,这样得到结果为1.。

被除数C4为decimal(28,2)而除数为2.51,也就是p=28,s=2,s'=2。所以结果的小数点位数为 31-28+2-2=3,这样得到结果为1.235。

 

 

Special value:

1.Null is unknow value. All operations with NUll is Null.

2.Identity Column: generated alwasys as indetity( start with 1, increment by 10)

Compression:

It  can reduce I/O and add the hit rate in memory.

1. Value compression. delete Null value and default value.

2. Row compression. It is used thru Dictionary.
