Install Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX 3.5 in Win2003
1.    Download Windows Services for UNIX 3.5
2.    Create file SFUusers.txt and SFUgroups.txt, and edit them as follows:
[SFUusers.txt]nfsuser:x:1004:1004:NFS user:/nfs:/bin/sh
[SFUgroups.txt]nfsgroup:1004:x:
Put these two file in the directory of C:/WINNT/system32/drivers/etc
3.    Install
1)    Run SfuSetup.msi, and “Micorsoft Windows Services for UNIX Setup wizard” appear, then click ‘Next’ and select the ‘Customer Information’ option.
2)    Click ‘Next’ and show the window of ‘License and Support Information’, and select ‘I accept the agreement’
3)    Click Next，the window of ‘Installation Options’ appears
4)    Select ‘Custom Installation’，and click ‘Next’，the window of ‘Selecting Components’ shows
5)    Click the content of ‘Utilitie’，choose the ‘Entire feature will not be available’, so does the contect of “Interix GNU components”“Remote Connectivity”.
6)    Click content of ‘NFS’, and choose the “Entire Feature (including all subfeature if any) will be installed on local hard drive”, so does “Authentication tools for NFS”. //when I installed ‘NFS’, actually the option of “Gateway for NFS” cann’t be installed but this doesn’t affect my use.
7)    Click Next until finish the installation.
4.    Start some service for the following configuration
1)    Choose the Start->Program->Management Tool->Service->Server for NFS->Property->set Auto Start->Start the service
2)    Choose the Start->Program->Management Tool->Service->User Name Mapping->Property->set Auto Start->Start the service
5.    Configuration Services for UNIX Administration
1)    Choose the Start->Program->Windows Services for Unix->Services for Unix Administration, and start Services for UNIX Administration.
2)    Choose the option of ‘User Name Mapping’. In the page of ‘Configuration’, select the option of ‘Use Password and Group files’. Click the Browse button and select the directory of ‘C:/WINNT/system32/drivers/etc/SFUusers.txt’, and select the option of ‘Group file path and name:’.Click the Browse button and select the directory of ‘C:/WINNT/system32/drivers/etc/SFUgroups.txt’.
3)    Choose the page of ‘Maps’, then click ‘Show User Maps’, click button of ‘List Windows Users’ and select relational windows user, and click button of ‘List UNIX Users’ and select relational unix user, finally click ‘Add’button. Click ‘Show Group Maps’, click button of ‘List Windows Groups’ and select relational windows group, and click button of ‘List UNIX Groups’ and select relational unix group, finally click ‘Add’button.
6.    NFS Share Windows directory
Mouse right click file forder, then click ‘Property’ button, and select the ‘NFS Sharing’ page, then select the option of ‘Share this folder’, and choose ‘Allow anonymous access’, the Anonymous UID/GID is respectily 1004 which means the unix user ID(such as the mesreport user’s ID is 1004). Click the button of ‘Permissions’,select ‘Read-Write’type of access, and choose ‘Allow root access’.
