记一次MySQL5.7修改默认密码遇到的问题

sudo vim /etc/mysql/mysql.conf.d/mysqld.cnf

修改配置文件，在[mysqld]中添加skip-grant-tables
修改完毕后重启MySQL服务

然后就可以免密登录MySQL命令行

5.7版本前的mysql运行

use mysql;
update user set password=password("new_password") where user="root";
flush privileges;
quit;

5.7版本后的mysql运行

use mysql;
update mysql.user set authentication_string=password('new_password') where user='root';
flush privileges;
quit;

我是5.7版本的

执行完上面操作后重启MySQL服务，然后登录，发现报错。

ss@null:~$ sudo systemctl restart mysql
ss@null:~$ mysql -uroot -p
Enter password: 
ERROR 1698 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'

解决方法如下：

sudo vim /etc/mysql/mysql.conf.d/mysqld.cnf

重启MySQL服务即可。
