Git是一款免费、开源的分布式版本控制系统，用于敏捷高效地处理任何或小或大的项目。Eclipse的git插件叫EGit，类似是GIT的GUI工具。

1.help->AboutEclipse查看eclipse版本

 

2.检查Eclipse中是否已安装EGit插件，Help -> AboutEclipse，查看是否有EGit插件的图标

不同的版本安装的Egit图标貌似不同，有茶杯图标

 

或者类似二叉树图标

我使用的版本先安装的是第二个图标的egit，但是却在preferences-team中找不到git选项，然后卸载了重新安装，才可正常使用。（卸载：在help-AboutEclipse-Installation Details中选中对应的插件进行卸载）

3.安装Egit，不要盲目安装，一定要根据自己的eclipse版本安装对应的egit版本.

如我的elipse版本为Eclipse 4.4.2 (Luna SR2)，则下载地址为http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates-3.4.2

在help-install new software中输入http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates-3.4.2，勾选加载项，后面就一直点击下一步，接受，安装，重启软件,git插件就安装好了.

 

如果不选择对应的版本，直接输入网址http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates，下载安装后就会出现在preferences-team中找不到git选项的问题.

 

4.配置Git

菜单栏Window ->Preferences -> Team -> Git -> Configuration，点击Add Entry…，添加name和email，在将项目代码commit到Git时需要用到name和email信息。在点击AddEntry…弹出的对话框中，Key填user.name，Value填姓名信息，这是添加name信息，在添加email信息时，Key填user.email，Value填email地址。如图:
