安装hive-1.2.1详细步骤

linux下安装步骤如下：

1.安装mysql服务与客户端

[root@Hadoop-Master ~]# pwd
/root
[root@Hadoop-Master ~]# yum install mysql-server mysql-client

2.创建数据库

[root@Hadoop-Master ~]# /etc/init.d/mysqld start
初始化 MySQL 数据库： Installing MySQL system tables...
OK
Filling help tables...
OK


To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy
support-files/mysql.server to the right place for your system


PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:


/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h Hadoop-Master password 'new-password'


Alternatively you can run:
/usr/bin/mysql_secure_installation


which will also give you the option of removing the test
databases and anonymous user created by default.  This is
strongly recommended for production servers.

You can start the MySQL daemon with:
cd /usr ; /usr/bin/mysqld_safe &


You can test the MySQL daemon with mysql-test-run.pl
cd /usr/mysql-test ; perl mysql-test-run.pl

 1). 建立数据库hive，并设定为latin1编码，否则出错

create database hive default character set latin1;

 2). 创建用户hive

create user 'hive'@'%' identified by 'hive';   

 3).创建hive用户,并授权

grant all on hive.* to hive@'%'  identified by 'hive'; 

flush privileges;
