ubuntu下修改mysql(8.0.25)数据库root密码

Mysql Server version: 8.0.25

ubuntu0.20.04.1 (Ubuntu)

 

1. 连接你的mysql

root@hecs-35184:~# mysql -u root
Welcome to the MySQL monitor.  Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 9
Server version: 8.0.25-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 (Ubuntu)

2. use mysql

mysql> use mysql;
Reading table information for completion of table and column names
You can turn off this feature to get a quicker startup with -A

3.置空密码

mysql> update user set authentication_string='' where user='root';
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)
Rows matched: 1  Changed: 0  Warnings: 0

4.刷新和退出

mysql> flush privileges;
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.01 sec)

mysql> quit
Bye

 

5.重启mysql

root@hecs-35184:~# service mysql restart

6.进入mysql ，密码直接回车

root@hecs-35184:~# mysql -u root -p

7.修改密码，刷新，退出

mysql> ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '123456';
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.01 sec)

mysql> flush privileges;
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.00 sec)

mysql> quit
Bye

8.直接用你的新密码登录root就行了。
