[12.25]university's firewall cause the error of FTP connection

Story

I purchased a tengxu-yun server long time ago.When I got it,i can’t wait to establish a FTP server on it.But the problem is my laptop can connect with my FTP server,but it can’t read the catalogue on the server.
But,why?
In the beginning,i guess maybe the firewall stop it.So i adjust firewall policy to enable the port of 21.But it seemd not enough.So i closed the firewall roughly.But,what?It didn’t work!Oh wtf???
And i had another tasks to do , so i just put it down.

Today

Today,I think of my tengxu-yun FTP,So i try again.Oh,An idea emerged from my mind，maybe the Gateway or router stop the connection.
So i use my mobile AP to connect FTP.
Yes!It works!!

I guessed university’s firewall or my router stop it,And i check it.
it isn’t my router bussiness.
SO,friends maybe you can check if the university’s firewall stop you action next time,hhha
