ImageView 无法显示图片问题解决办法

今天简单地制作一个布局如下

    xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"

    android:layout_height="match_parent"
    tools:context="com.example.leslie.volleytest.MainActivity">
    <Button
        android:id="@+id/send_request"
        android:layout_width="match_parent"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content"
        android:text="Send Request"/>

    <ImageView
        android:id="@+id/show_image"
        android:layout_width="wrap_content"
        android:layout_height="wrap_content" />
</LinearLayout>

按钮绑定了一个监听器，在监听器里对图片资源进行修改。没想到这么简单的一个问题竟然花了一个上午的时间没做好。后来仔细分析布局文件才知道Linearlayout默认是水平排布的，如果将Button宽度设置为wrap_content的话，ImageView就被挤出了屏幕外。把父容器修改成垂直布局就能显示出来。
