Navicat连接MySQL8.0报1251错误解决方案

错误提示

Navicat连接MySQL8.0总是报如下错误：

1251-Client does not support authentication protocol requested by server; consider upgrading MySQL client

错误原因

MySQL8.0版本的加密方式和MySQL5.0的不一样，连接会报错。

解决方法

方法一：更改加密方式

1. 通过命令行连接MySQL实例

C:\Users\Administrator>mysql -u root -p
Enter password: ****
Welcome to the MySQL monitor.  Commands end with ; or \g.
Your MySQL connection id is 14
Server version: 8.0.16 MySQL Community Server - GPL

Copyright (c) 2000, 2019, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved.

mysql>

2. 更改加密方式

mysql> ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'root' PASSWORD EXPIRE NEVER;
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.10 sec)

3. 更改密码：

mysql> ALTER USER 'root'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED WITH mysql_native_password BY 'root';
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.35 sec)

4. 刷新，使得修改生效

mysql> FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
Query OK, 0 rows affected (0.28 sec)

至此，修改完成，通过Navicat再次连接成功。

方法二：重装MySQL，选择加密方式为“传统密码验证方式”
重装过程中选择“传统密码验证方式”，如下图所示：

重装完成后，通过Navicat再次连接成功。
