在部署更新后的SpringBoot项目到云端时遇到404错误，通过查看日志发现'checkStateForResourceLoading'异常。问题根源是由于在WEB-INF目录下存在多余的web.xml文件，导致SpringBoot应用加载了两次配置。解决办法是删除多余的配置文件，确保正确部署。
