使用powerDesinger将mysql中的数据库逆向生成PDM文件

1.安装mysql-connector-odbc-5.1.5-win32.msi这个是驱动必须安装，大概4M，百度搜即可

2.打开powerdesigner,文件-》reverse engineer–》database model name 自定义–》

选择Current DBMS为mysql 5.0 然后选择using a data source

点击图中红圈，点击configure

点击红圈，添加新数据源

下一步选择第一步安装的驱动

下一步，确定。

，填写相关数据，上面两行随便写，下面4行就是连接数据库的必须字段。点击OK，跳转到

下拉框选定刚配置好的数据源，点击connect

,点击确定筛选要导出的表（下拉筛选）–》OK 即可生成PDM。
注意：如果pdm需要注释（comment），那么mysql中要事先填写好才行。

在使用PowerDesigner对数据库进行概念模型和物理模型设计时，一般在NAME或Comment中写中文，在Code中写英文。Name用来显 示，Code在代码中使用，但Comment中的文字会保存到数据库Table或Column的Comment中，当Name已经存在的时候，再写一次 Comment很麻烦，可以使用以下代码来解决这个问题：

代码一:将Name中的字符COPY至Comment中

另外在使用REVERSE ENGINEER从数据库反向生成PDM的时候，PDM中的表的NAME和CODE事实上都是CODE，为了把NAME替换为数据库中Table或Column的中文Comment，可以使用以下脚本：

以上两段代码都是VB脚本，在PowerDesigner中使用方法为：

PowerDesigner->Tools->Execute Commands->Edit/Run Scripts

将代码Copy进去执行就可以了，是对整个CDM或PDM进行操作

备注

直接使用 Part2 中的代码二:将Comment中的字符COPY至Name中 时，表名也会变成中文名，如果要保持表名为英文名则需要

删去 tab.name = tab.comment 以及 view.name = view.comment 这两行代码。

进行排版
Ctrl+A选中所有模型，然后菜单->Symbol->Auto-Layout
