problem1
If your computer’s encoding is GBK, we create a new file in the terminal and open it with farmanager, there will be two spaces in the file. Because we set the code page to utf-8 to prevent Chinese characters from being garbled, we are opening the text in utf-8. So we need to switch the encoding format of the terminal to utf-8 after we open the software.
solution
farmanager shortcut - properties - target
cmd /c chcp 65001 && E:\farManager\Far.exe
Let’s do the following to get a better experience (block Chinese overlap and use Consolas font)
- Change our terminal to Terminal
- Set focus mode shortcuts to quickly open and hide (when encoding) tabs
