中Domino服务器的安装，IBM提供的安装方法HTTPSETUP  不太好使用，有时候还要装很多补丁或者JDE这类的，本人经过摸索现在提供一种简
单实用有效的的方法：
1、下载IBM提供的DominorR6在LINUX下的安装文件（c59d1na.tar）。
2、解压c59d1na.tar到指定位置，操作为：tar  xvf  c59d1na.tar。
3、LINUX操作系统中创建Notes用户与用户群组，其中创建了notes用户，系统会自动创建想对应的用户群组。操作为：adduser  notes。
4、使用root身份进入到相对应的解压位置，进行安装，操作为：./install。
5、根据提示一步一步安装，默认安装目录：/opt/lotus/；数据存放路径：/local/notesdata/。
6、切换到notes身份，操作为：su  notes。
7、进入数据存放目录，操作为：cd  /local/notesdata。
8、启动服务器配置程序，操作为：/opt/lotus/bin/server  –listen。
9、使用另外一台电脑（必须与Linux服务器是连同，并装有LotusR6客户端），在cmd命令下找到安装目录，操作为：cd  c:/lotus/notes。
10、使用操作：serversetup  –remote。
11、接下来将会跳出久违了的Domino安装界面。

注：此方法只适用DominoR6以上的版本，包括R6，DominoR5则必须使用http  httpsetup的方式安装。
/opt/lotus/bin/server  –listen含义如下：
The  server  is  now  ready  for  setup.  From  your  client  machine,  you  should  now  run  the  Remote  Server  Setup,  this  feature  is  an  option  when  you  install  the  Administration  Client.  This  will  start  up  a  JAVA  applet  and  will  enable  to  run  the  standard  ND6  server  setup.

Once  this  has  completed,  you  are  nearly  ready  to  start  your  server.  However,  before  you  do  there  is  another  important  change  you  need  to  make.  The  ND6  server  program  now  consists  of  3  parts,  the  Server,  the  Controller  and  the  Console.  By  default  it  will  try  to  run  all  3  when  you  start  the  server.  This  will  cause  it  to  fail  on  Engarde  as  there  is  no  X  client  for  the  client,  therefore  you  need  to  change  the  startup  options.
