6. ZigZag Conversion
The string “PAYPALISHIRING” is written in a zigzag pattern on a given number of rows like this: (you may want to display this pattern in a fixed font for better legibility)
P A H N
A P L S I I G
Y I R
And then read line by line: “PAHNAPLSIIGYIR”
Write the code that will take a string and make this conversion given a number of rows:
string convert(string text, int nRows);
convert(“PAYPALISHIRING”, 3) should return “PAHNAPLSIIGYIR”.
解法
关注序号之间的变化,当在第一行和最后一行时,序号之间相差2*nRows-2,在中间行时,奇数列与相邻行相差size-2*i。
public class Solution {
public String convert(String s, int nRows) {
if(s == null && s.length() == 0 && nRows <= 0) {
return "";
}
if(nRows == 1) {
return s;
}
int size = 2 * nRows - 2;
StringBuilder res = new StringBuilder();
for(int i = 0; i < nRows; i++){
for (int j = i; j < s.length(); j += size) {
res.append(s.charAt(j));
if(i != 0 && i != nRows - 1) {
int insertInt = j + size - 2 * i;
if (insertInt < s.length()) {
res.append(s.charAt(insertInt));
}
}
}
}
return res.toString();
}
}
