Thank you and it is appreciated for you to give me this chance.

Q: why do you want to leave your current company?
A: Because
1) The company merged with another one this year, and the president changed. After that, the corporate culture is changed, and new policies are created, but some of them discouraged company staff. And I do not like the corporate culture and do not agree with the company goal.

2) I am reaching the "glass ceiling". That is to say, I have been in almost the topmost position I can accomplish.

Q: Give me a summary description of your current job.
A: As an architect, my responsibilities are:
1) System analysis and design;
2) Coding, bug fix, testing support;

3) Technical issues researching and solving, technique training;
4) Some project management issues;
5) Hazard predicting, recognizing, control, solving, and manage;

Now, as a manager, my responsibilities are:

1) Human resource control, recruiting, new staff training, project team building;

2) Focused on quality, project flow and inter-projects issues;

3) Involved in CMMI and Continuous Integration;

Q: Why do you stay in your last company so long?
A: The most important is that, I have the same goal with my company. Meantime, it is very nice to work with my colleagues, all we can get along well with, and the working atmosphere is very good. I can always make my progress together with this company. In this company, I developed to be a good team player, an experienced technical expert, and can easily be suitable for any new positions.

Q: Please describe the most difficult project you have encountered. Or tell me about one of the projects you failed.
A: The first project I acted as the technical leader. I have made some mistakes:
1) we are not familiar with the technique that we used;
2) hazard is not predicted, and is not control well when it occurs;
3) all the products, including design, document and coding, are not reviewed at all;
4) no continuous integration, and it leads to more efforts;
5) test is not enough and result in bad performance and memory leak.

Q: Tell me about one of the projects you succeeded.
A: A sub project or MR system, Fusion project. The reasons are:
1) Schedule is reasonable and feasible;
2) Design patterns are applied and the project is extensible and flexible;
3) Coding is well done, performance is good, and almost no bugs;
4) Phase products, such as code, design document,  are reviewed regularly and thoroughly.

5) The developers, testers, and managers all have made progress through this project, and the atmosphere is very good.
In the end, this project wins “The Best Project” of that year.

Q: Please list some of the technical issues you have solved.
A: Basically, I do not encounter very difficult technical issues. And some impressing issues are field specific, not pure technical.

Q: How do you arrange your time in the daily work?
A: First thing first. When morning, I list today's work, classify them according to the importance and emergency, and then I will plan the schedule based on the rule of "first thing first".  Meantime, I have a long-term plan of study and exercise.

Q: How do you evaluate yourself?
A:  First of all, I am professional. And I am proactive, integrity, good team player, and quick learner.

A: I have formed the habit of participate actively, study continually and exercise regularly. I appreciate my company because she has made me a technical expert and experienced manager.

Q: What is your strong point (merit) and weak point (disadvantage)?
A: I am a good team player, a quick learner, getting along well with the other colleagues and I am always working hard.
About the weakness, I think it is better for me to (I must) broaden my horizon and improve myself in many fields, including technology, management and experience.

Q: Why do you think we will employ you? (or, why do you consider that you are qualified with this job?)
A: Firstly, for my experienced technical and management background. Second, I am a quick and good learner. Third, I am a good team player. So I think I can create more benefit than what I will be paid.
or
A: I think you want to hire a person who is a technique expert, a good team player and a good learner, and I am the right one you want, so I think you could employ me, and I can create more benefit than what I will be paid.

A: The ideal position is where I can reveal my capability, use my experience, show my value and advance myself. And meantime, the company could make progress with my effort. Here is a great company that I am looking for.

Q: How do you envision the development of your carrier over the next few years?
A: I can work as either a developer or a project manager, because I have both experiences. Basically, in the next 3 or 5 years, I will go deeply into technique field. After that, I will make my decision for the next step according to the development.

Q: What range of salary/pay are you interested in?
A: I have no special requirement because I am interested in this company very much. So you could decide the salary according to my experience and my capability.
