a, runlevel在Red Hat下的可能值：

0 - halt (Do NOT set initdefault to this)
1 - Single user mode
2 - Multiuser, without NFS (The same as 3, if you do not have networking)
3 - Full multiuser mode
4 - unused
5 - X11
6 - reboot (Do NOT set initdefault to this)

b, 在Red Hat下面可以使用who -r命令来查看runlevel的当前值。

c, Red Hat 默认工作在runlevel 3。

a, runlevel在Ubuntu下的可能值：

Runlevel 0 stands for shutdown
Runlevel 2 is the default runlevel for the Ubuntu boot process
Runlevel 6 stands for reboot

b, 在Ubuntu下面可以使用who -r或者runlevel命令来查看runlevel的当前值。

c, Ubuntu 默认工作在runlevel 2。
