1:To maintain file transfer continuity, we need to ensure that the file is still transferred after the schedule is changed:
 
In general, we need to ensure that when making a change, the request does not leave a "gap" day, where the file is not transferred. 
 
As a rule of thumb for job/schedules using +1 day defined:
 
If the file is not urgent, include the following in the raised PJMR:
(Please modify PJMR 440566 with these instructions. Remove the "cancel" instructions and resubmit for Arrys to approve)
1. Detail all the changes required for the jobs/schedules.
2. Do not cancel the current schedules/job pertaining to the change, to retail the continuity of the file transfer for the next day. (This implies that the current schedule will still take effect the next day and the new changes will take effect only after the last scheduled job using the current setup).
 
If the change is urgent, then include the following in your PJMR:
1. Cancel the existing job for the file/script
2. Details all the changes required for the jobs/schedules.
3. Request of an adhoc job to support the missing day, using the newly defined job/schedule.
This will ensure that the day after the change is made that the job is still run without any missing days (due to the +1 days setup).
 
Please follow this when raising future requests to avoid the issues we have experienced in the past few weeks.

3:for other issue ,I will keep to analyze to see if there are any issues we have not seen.
     Obviously ,the jobs related to XCOM are early to test, so let's focus on missing file /folders and parameters for XCOM.
     Pls double check the timing with S on TWS jobs contained in the batch, ensure you had already defined all the jobs in TWS
     Pls make sure that all the instruction s is before Friday and sent to S ,Do not forget to include the sripts which S requried

 

4:I worked out a spreedsheet template for our daily report, please quickly have a look, any problem on this template, get back to me shortly, we will use it later for our unix/Tivoli migration project tracking.

 

5:Furthermore, we have been advised by our Development Team in China, that they have escalated the issues to APPC via the support lines, however there has been not response during the time of the issues and also to date. 
It is critical that we resolve all the outstanding issues, as Australia is migrating all Local Unix Cache Scheduler Jobs into TWS / Tivoli, and we need to ensure as we progress to the completion of the migration that we do not have any further issues as this will ultimately impact the Bank Operationally and Financially, particularly where certain files are sent and received via Third Party Vendor / Partners within agreed SLA’s.

7:I would like to reinforce the importance of information security. 
    your coorperation and diligence is much needed to ensure that CSTS is opening with a secure environment.

8:This PJMR was already approved by Arrys,
 and Clyde has reviewed and confirmed it is ok before we send mail to Arrys for approval,
 this batch is new implementation, target date is that all TWS jobs will be defined in Prod on 16 Oct,
 and effective date is 19 Oct, if we change this PJMR, then we might can not meet this date,
 please advise if we really need to change this PJMR and got approval again.
