I was just hesitate for installing kali or kali light on my raspberry pi...
For kali linux full iso version, it says to save all packages but... What about kali light?
here I grabbed some info about what does kali light install.
Thanks to unix.stackexchange, the answerer Stephen Kitt.
"The light ISO provides a Kali 2.0 setup using XFCE, and a smaller selection of tools (Iceweasel, OpenSSH, NMap, NCrack, SQLMap and AirCrack-NG; see variant-light/package-lists/kali.list.chroot
in the live build configuration for details)."
And thanks to git.kali.
# You always want those
kali-desktop-live
# Kali applications
iceweasel
openssh-server
nmap
ncrack
sqlmap
aircrack-ng
# A light desktop
kali-desktop-xfce
Just compare the tools and desktop xfce&gnome3, I decided to install kali linux light on my raspberry pi.
And the most important thing is, the light version saves memory and only cost about 3 GB disk!
