到底能不能基于push模式的xml parser实现pull模式的parser？

我上一篇转载的文章中，那位大牛最后一句话说：

While you can emulate the push model using pull-based components, you just can't build a pull model parser using a SAX parser.
 

但有如下一篇论文，说可以实现
