Chiba is a XForms framework and a toolkit that evolved around a XForms Processor implementation in Java (commonly called the 'Chiba Core'). While the first versions of Chiba started up with a server-side approach and a request/response interface it quickly became apparent how powerful the combination of AJAX and server-side XForms could be for applications especially XML applications.
