Eclipse启动Tomcat超时异常



Server Tomcat v6.0 Server at localhost was unable to start within 45 seconds. If the server requires more time, try increasing the timeout in the server editor.

在eclipse中进行tomcat启动时报这种异常，有可能是server中的tomcat配置timeout时间有点短。但也有可能是配置文件出错了，比如在xml文件中用尖括号（<>）时没有进行特殊处理（得用<![CDATA[。。。]]>包起来）等简单的语法问题。

加长tomcat启动时timeout的时间：直接修改..\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.wst.server.core\文件夹下的server.xml文件中的start-timeout就行，时间长短由你定，单位是秒。

修改完后记得重启eclipse，那样才有效果。
