My Oracle Support
最佳建议是一个用户用于Oracle数据库软件,一个用户用于GI(Grid Infrastructure)软件。
/u01/app/oracle
每一个Oracle Home的格式为/pm/s/u/product/v/type_[n],例如:
/u01/app/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/dbhome_1
/u01/app/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/dbhome_1/oradata/orcl
OUI inventory通常位于/u01/app/oraInventory目录。
OUI(Oracle Universal Install)安装时会检查安装先决条件,只有满足这些先决条件,才会开始安装。
...
[Generic Prereqs]
TEMP_SPACE=500
SWAP_SPACE=150
MIN_DISPLAY_COLORS=256
...
$ cat /etc/oraInst.loc
inventory_loc=/opt/oracle/oraInventory
inst_group=dba
$ cd /opt/oracle/oraInventory/
$ cat ContentsXML/inventory.xml
<?xml version="1.0" standalone="yes" ?>

<INVENTORY>
<VERSION_INFO>
<SAVED_WITH>12.2.0.1.4</SAVED_WITH>
<MINIMUM_VER>2.1.0.6.0</MINIMUM_VER>
</VERSION_INFO>
<HOME_LIST>
<HOME NAME="OraDB12Home1" LOC="/opt/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/dbhome_1" TYPE="O" IDX="1"/>
</HOME_LIST>
<COMPOSITEHOME_LIST>
</COMPOSITEHOME_LIST>
</INVENTORY>
在以上的示例中,ORACLE_HOME是/opt/oracle而非/u01/app/oracle,这也是一种常用的设置。
通过运行runInstaller.sh开始OUI安装。

## This sample response file causes the Oracle Net Configuration ##
## Assistant (NetCA) to complete an Oracle Net configuration during ##
## a custom install of the Oracle12c server which is similar to ##
## what would be created by the NetCA during typical Oracle12c ##
## install. It also documents all of the NetCA response file ##
