project is part of the Ad hoc Mobile Ecosystem (AMES) project and is a building block of the respective Ad hoc Sensor network. This network is especially designed to support mobile disaster teams and dismounted military forces. Another AMES sub project that is also publically available on github is the Web Services Security Client for Android.
RTSP camera aims to establish an Android platform as a streaming server for the device's camera output. In order to register for receiving the camera stream, the Real-Time streaming protocol (RTSP) is used. The camera stream itself is sent via H.263 over RTP (Real-Time Transport Protocol).
