as的用法(基础)

1.as作介词， 表示 作为 一般后面只能接一个名词

She work sas a doctor.

As a league member, I'll take the lead in everything.

 

2.as作为关系代词，最好放在开头

Eg. The moon travels round the earth once every month which is known to everybody.

As is known to everybody, the moon travels round the earth once every month.

It is known to everybody that the moon travels round the earth once every month.(主语从句)

As we have seen, the focus of medical care in our society has been shifting from curing disease to preventing disease-especially in terms of changing our many unhealthy behaviors, such as poor eating habits, smoking and failure to exercise.gt

 

3.as作为连词来构成 状语从句

(1)时间状语从句(当…的时候)

As the summer comes, the day becomes shorter and shorter.

 

(2)原因状语从句(表示显而易见的原因)，和since在语法上保持一致。

As she was not feeling well, we all sold her to stay at home.

 

(3)让步状语从句，although引导的句子可以转换成as的用法。

Although she may fail…

Fail as she may

 

Although the graph is simple.

Simple as the graph is.

 

Although he is rich, he doesn't have any friends.

Rich as heis, he doesn't have any friends.

 

(4)方式状语从句(就像..一样；正如..一样)

Do as the instruction says.

He came aswe expected.

 

(5)比较状语从句

I'm as tall as you.
