1.The Flex framework includes a core set of languages and libraries that are the basis
of any Flex application. Using MXML, ActionScript, and the Flex class library you can construct and compile .swf content that you can then deploy to flahs player.
2.MXML is an xml -based markup language that primarily describe the sreen layout.
3.Actionsript is the programming language understood by flash player and is the fundamental engine of all flex applications . It can do all the things that MXML can do .
4.MXML is best suited for sreen layout and Actionscript is best suited for user interation.
5.All the flex framework classes are in the mx package.
6. It is necessary to compile the source code files which include MXML and Actionscript files to the .swf file which flash player can interpret.
7.There are two types of the MXML documents, the first type of the MXML document is an application document which uses the Application nodes as the root node. The other type os component document which is used to define MXML components . All flex applications must have one application document that is the only type of document you can compile into an application.
8. A namespace is a unique grouping for elements. A namespace allows you to create a unique uniform resource identifier (URI) that corresponds to a particular manifest document.
9.The visual component consits of the following :containers, user interface controls. The nonvisual component consits of the following :Data components ,Utility components.
10.The Application element itself is a container because you can place other components within it.
