Ubuntu 16 BAD PASSWORD: it does not contain enough DIFFERENT characters

 

vultr的服务器不能设置6位的密码，提示：

BAD PASSWORD: it does not contain enough DIFFERENT characters

但是阿里云的服务器能设置，搜索了一下没看到太直接的用信息，大概是修改/etc/pam.d/common-password这个文件，

自己尝试了一下不对，索性直接把阿里云的配置拷贝过来，再次尝试解决。

贴一下配置文件：

password        [success=1 default=ignore]      pam_unix.so obscure sha512
# here's the fallback if no module succeeds
password        requisite                       pam_deny.so
# prime the stack with a positive return value if there isn't one already;
# this avoids us returning an error just because nothing sets a success code

password        required                        pam_permit.so
# and here are more per-package modules (the "Additional" block)
# end of pam-auth-update config

主要是这两行：
