1. Replace default JUL(java.util.logger) with SLF4J
some application use java.util.logger as default logging, for example: grizzly.
document: SLF4JBridgeHandler
package: org.slf4j:jul-to-slf4j
import org.slf4j.bridge.SLF4JBridgeHandler;
SLF4JBridgeHandler.removeHandlersForRootLogger();
SLF4JBridgeHandler.install();
2. Use logback filter for appender
using appender's filter to unwanted log message
<appender name="STDOUT" class="ch.qos.logback.core.ConsoleAppender">
<filter class="ch.qos.logback.classic.filter.ThresholdFilter">
<level>WARN</level>
</filter>
<!-- encoders are assigned the type
ch.qos.logback.classic.encoder.PatternLayoutEncoder by default -->
<encoder>
<pattern>%d{HH:mm:ss.SSS} [%thread] %-5level %logger{36} - %msg%n</pattern>
</encoder>
</appender>
