enable c++11 on eclipse

Based on version 3.8 of eclipse and GCC compiler.

(1) Setup compiler.

Choose your project under project explorer. Right Click >> Properties >> C/C++ Build >> Settings >> G++ compiler >> Miscellaneous.

Append " -std=c++11" to the value in text box ( exclude quotes ) at the right of a label named as other flags. Click OK.

(2) Additional work.

Choose your project under project explorer. Right Click >> Properties >> C/C++ General >> Preprocessor Include Paths, Macros etc.

under "Providers" tag, choose CDT Cross GCC Built-in Compiler Settings. uncheck the global provider. Append " -std=c++11" to the value in text box ( exclude quotes ) under a label named as Command to get compiler specs. Click Apply and OK.

(3) Clean and rebuild your project.

(4) In the project menu choose C/C++ index >> Rebuild.

it should work now, at least it works for me.
