Debian安装MariaDB

1.解压mariadb.tar.gz
2.移动到/usr/local/mariadb
3.修改文件所属权限
4.修改配置文件: cp mariadb/support-files/my-medium.cnf mariadb-data/my.cnf
5.运行mysql_install_db: scripts/mysql_install_db --defaults-file=my.cnf存放路径（apt-get install libaio-dev）
6.修改support-files/mysql.server的basedir、datadir,
7.启动mysql服务: support-files/mysql.server start
8.设置root密码: mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'
9.登录成功，至此安装配合成功

10.修改support-files/mysql.server中my.cnf的路径

11.注册到系统服务: 复制support-files/mysql.server到/etc/init.d/mariadb

To start mysqld at boot time you have to copy
support-files/mysql.server to the right place for your system

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MariaDB root USER !
To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:

'./bin/mysqladmin' -u root password 'new-password'
'./bin/mysqladmin' -u root -h bogon password 'new-password'

Alternatively you can run:
'./bin/mysql_secure_installation'

which will also give you the option of removing the test
databases and anonymous user created by default.  This is
strongly recommended for production servers.

You can start the MariaDB daemon with:
cd '.' ; ./bin/mysqld_safe --datadir='./data'

You can test the MariaDB daemon with mysql-test-run.pl
cd './mysql-test' ; perl mysql-test-run.pl

mariadb@bogon:/opt/mariadb$ clear
mariadb@bogon:/opt/mariadb$ ./bin/mysqladmin -u mariadb password '616694'
./bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)'
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/tmp/mysql.sock' exists!
