Software Development Group Leader

Requirements:

using Java technologies, the candidate will be involved in technical role as a part of this responsibility. The candidate must have good knowledge of basic and advanced Java and have good familiarity with server side development. Candidate will have good SQL and query tuning knowledge. Hands on experience with advanced java programming (e.g. thread programming, caching) is required. Familiarity with Rational Rose object modeller, clearcase and Java Profilers will be of added advantage. Familiarity and use of JUnit and selenium for product testing is a requirement.

Responsibilities:

1) Develops and implements 3-tier software applications.

2) Supports and/or installs software applications.

3) Responsible for design, maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

4) Participates in the testing process through definition and creation of unit test suites, test plan review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software.

5) Typically requires 5-8 years of experience including a demonstrated ability to deliver assignments with high quality and on time. Has experience with concepts, practices, and procedures commonly used within the software development field.

6) Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

7) Follows disciplined software development practices.
