The difference between film faced plywood and wood I joist beam

The film faced plywood and the Wood I beam are both the important part of the international building formwork system. They both have the same characteristic of light weight, high strength, good linearity, not easy to be deformed, water and acid-alkali resistant etc. Both of them can be reused annual and the cost is low. As well, they can be used together in the inner and outer professional formwork system.

The film faced plywood and the Wood I beam  can be widely used toghether in the horizontal formwork system, vertical formwork system that including the wall foming, pillar forming and hydrolic climbing formwork etc. variable arc formwork system and the profiled formwork panel system. 

The difference between the film faced plywood and wood I beam are as belows:

The wood I beam slab formwork system is the loading and unloading formwork panel, which is easy to be assembled to variable sized formwork system. It is convenient to jointed the customized length and height that can be higher than 10 meters. Because the light weight of the wood material, the whole panel jointed is lighter than the steel formwork panel. So the wood I beam is the bearing beam for the temporary forming system.

But the film faced plywood is mainly directly used as the forming panel to form the surface of the concrete of building. Especially the modified poplar film faced plywood, it can used very well to form the perfect surface of concrete.
