Magic Linux 2.1在Dell D610上的网络配置（不能自动启动网络和DNS问题）

SW: Magic Linux 2.1

HW: Dell 610 Notebook

Issues:

  1. Can't probe up eth0 auto

  2. Can't act as DNS client

  3. Can't use apt-get. Like ubuntu, I set http_proxy but can not fetch from source list(DNS).

 

For issue 1:

# chkconfig --level 35 network on

# setup

turn off bluetooth service, but it may not be related with auto-probe network.

 

Network configs in Fedora-like Linux Distribution:

1. /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts

2. command setup

3. #service network restart

 

Network configs in Ubuntu-like Linux Distribution:

1. $ sudo gedit /etc/network/interfaces

 

For issue 2:

Can not resolve by set env http_proxy.

 

For issue 3:

# set proxy in /etc/apt/apt.conf

Acquire {
        Retries "0";
        HTTP {
                Proxy ""; // http://user:pass@host:port/
        };
};

 

And replace new source list in /etc/apt/sources.list.d/magic.list, refer to dir structures on http://apt.magiclinux.org/magic
