HTML 2.0 Strict Level 2 hypertext markup language.
It is based on the Document Type Definition (DTD) specified in RFC1866, Hypertext Markup Language - 2.0, by T. Berners-Lee and D. Connolly, Request for Comments: 1866, November 1995.
This version has all
the recommended features, highlighting, and forms included in it, but
all deprecated features are excluded.
This early version of HTML formalized the language during a time of rapidly growing use and technical change. The official status of HTML 2 is historic, as many of its features were changed in subsequent versions of HTML.
