Abstract:
A typical piezoceramic stack actuator, as the research objective herein, the experimental investigation and analysis of the minor-loop hysteretic behaviors were studied. The Sawyer-Tower method was used to get the polarization and high precision capacitance sensor was used to measure the output displacement of piezoceramic actuator. Then combined with laboratory equipment, the polarization vs. voltage curve and strain vs. voltage curve of stack actuator were obtained when the input voltage changes frequently. From the domain switching of piezoelectric crystals, the generation mechanism of minor-loop hysteresis characteristics was analyzed. Finally, the optimum working zone of piezoceramic stack actuators is proposed.
