JSON GET for MySQL
This simple UDF extension looks up first level JS object map keys and
returns the corresponding value. It uses the streaming JSON library
YAJL, so it doesn't need to parse the entire string, only up until
a match is found.
Syntax:
SELECT JSON_GET('key2', '{ "key1" : "foo", "key2" : "bar" }')
Parameters:
JSON_GET(key [any type], json [string])
Returns:
A string
Installation (on RHEL or similar):
Requires YAJL >= 2.0: http://lloyd.github.com/yajl/

cp libjson_get.so /usr/lib(64)/mysql/plugin
mysql -uroot
> CREATE FUNCTION json_get RETURNS STRING SONAME 'libjson_get.so';
