Team/Department Mission Microsoft Service Organisation: Deliver quality consulting services and transfer knowledge to customers and partners that accelerate the adoption and deployment of Microsoft products and technologies in this Services Line. Technology Consulting Services: Provide expertise support to our country Services staffs in the engagements of customers and partners that enables them to envisage, plan, develop, deploy and operate business applications on the Microsoft platform. Background: The Microsoft Services Organisation offers IT Consultancy and Support at every stage of the IT Life Cycle. Together with our partners, our consultants and support specialists offer expert help with formulating strategy, quantifying business benefits, identifying opportunities and implementing solutions that best meet customer business requirements. Specialists work closely with customers to understand their business, and develop the right solution to meet their needs and vision. key challenges of the role
required business knowledge/experience:The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree or equivalent and a significant amount (minimum 7-10 years) of experience combining relevant work in technology leadership & strategic planning, financial planning for professional services, and consulting. Candidates must have a deep understanding of markets, customers and related technology, have the background to provide leadership in the practice and a demonstrated effectiveness in consulting and client management. Skills and experiences are preferable in experienced Microsoft .NET platform and architecture review, mentor of other MS .NET consultant, SOA in-depth knowledge on MS platform, etc. |

| key accountabilities of the role (6-8)
· Accountability: The Service Line Lead is responsible for the technical integrity and quality of the services / solutions delivered by the service line. Works with country Services exec and Engagement Managers to help qualify and scope engagements. Jointly responsible for implementation of the PMO Delivery Assurance process within the service line. Actively participates in the Service Lines most significant engagements, adding value internally and externally by providing quality assurance and control in engagement delivery. Responsible for ensuring that IC and best practice is harvested and utilised appropriately within engagements. · Strategy: Responsible for leading and coordinating the service offering strategy for the service line, liaising with Services HQ. The SLA will be considered a thought leader regarding Service Offerings and the technical strategy for the service line. · People: This role does not have direct reports. Share performance management responsibility with Engagement Managers on the delivery projects undertaken within the Service Line. · Relationships: Works with Enterprise Services Managers and Industry Sales Managers to close services opportunities;. It is a technical lead to represent the Service Line with HQ related activities. Establishes and builds relationships both within Microsoft and with external bodies necessary for developing the strategy of the service line and for extending Microsoft’s influence within the industry. · Ensures Service Line links into the world-wide community’s initiative to facilitate sharing and re-using of global best practice related to Strategy consulting engagements. · Fiscal responsibilities: Jointly responsible for Service Line meeting fiscal targets of project profitability, service line RM. · Metrics: Customer & Partner Satisfaction, Project Profitability, Personal and Group Utilisation
