GarageGames动作真快,几天没消息引擎已经支持安卓了!

效果还不错,不过貌似在筹款,代码没放出来,我们关注吧 :)

 

WHAT IS TORQUE 2D?

Torque 2D is an engine developed by GarageGames as their flagship 2d engine. It currently works on Windows, Mac OS X, and iOS. GarageGames recently released the Torque 2D engine source code under the MIT license and Max Gaming thought it was a great time to make an Android port of the code since it is one of the most requested features, and T2D is a great framework for mobile games. In addition we support the Ouya which runs the Android operating system, so we have decided to throw in a port to Ouya as well so that Torque 2D will work out of the box on both android mobile devices as well as the Ouya. The Ouya port will however be delayed until we can get our hands on a console.

 

NOTE: All work and support for the Torque 2D MIT Android version is being done by Max Gaming Technologies, and GarageGames is not affiliated directly with this project other than being the original developer of the Torque 2D game engine, now available under the MIT license.

Max Gaming Technologies has launched a kickstarter to fund an android port of T2D MIT as well as a port for the Ouya. Everyone who backs the project at $25 or more will get access to the port once it is complete. Everyone else will have to wait 6 months for the port to go open source MIT on Github. They also offer some support at the different tiers and the final Ouya port will be delayed until they get access to a console but they will give early access based off the SDK before that. MGT will also be porting the default toys that come with T2D as well. Any and all donations are welcomes, please help them bring this great engine to the android platform.
