​从今年8月1日起，托福做了这么十几年来最大的改革——

把考试从3.5小时缩短为3小时。

口语部分从6个tasks缩减为4道题（1 道独立题+3道综合题）。

今天跟大家聊一下口语的评分准则以及你的分数是怎么计算的。

对口语考试稍有了解的小伙伴们都知道，口语虽然是holistic scoring，但你的表现会从以下三个方面进行全方位评估：Delivery, Language use,Topic development.

#1 Delivery

语言的清晰度 = 发音，重音（单词的重音），语调（是否符合英语口语中自然的升降调）

步伐 = 语速，句子的长短，犹豫/卡顿

#2 Language use

“high level of language use […] is characterized by the efficiency of word choice and grammatical structures to convey meaning and the automaticity with which they are created”

简而言之，这段话的意思是说考生是否能精准有效的表达自己的意思。

Can you say what you want to say without using a lot of unnecessary words?

e.g. My phone costs me a lot of money. -> 这里用了7个单词，都是基础词汇

e.g. My phone is expensive. -> 这句话用了4个单词, 但”expensive” 是一个比较高级的词。

因此我们在答题中需要用精准的词汇去表达自己的意思，而不是为了拖延时间，把一个简单的句子复杂化（用更多的词）这样做的另一个原因是为了让我们在有限时间里（45”）讲更多的东西。

e.g. He listened to everything that was said in class. He was attentive in class.

词汇需要多变并且使用正确。

#3 Topic development

（独立口语）

Topic development指的是考生答题内容是否逻辑清晰并且连贯地建立自己的想法和思路。

“At the highest level, responses address the tasks by clearly communicating a point of view and providing well-supported reasons or explanations with some elaboration… ideas progress smoothly… making the response easy to follow.”

“clearly communicate a point of view”-> 观点必须明确清晰

“well-supported reasons”-> 是否有足够的理由支撑你的观点

“with some elaboration”-> 你的理由是否给出了足够的解释和阐述

（综合口语）

- 考生是否准确并且完整的回答了问题，思路是否清晰明确。

“At the highest level, responses address the tasks by presenting relevant information form the reading and listening … and organizing it in a way that makes it easy for the listener to follow the progression of ideas. Responses … provide the major information requested as well as some supporting details or elaboration on the topic.”

“address the tasks”-> 是否回答了问题

“easy to follow the progression of ideas”-> 答题是否逻辑清晰，容易理解

“some supporting details”-> 不只是回答了问题，更需要添加一些额外的细节

#4 如何计算你的口语分数

1. 每一道题将会由两位考官（human rater）打分

2. 每个考官会给出一个0-4分的整数分数（rubric score）

3. 每道题最终的rubric score是两个考官给出分数的平均分 例如：(3+4) / 2= 3.5

4. 每道题的rubric score会换算成scaled score（0-30）（Rubric score）/4*30 = scaled score 例如：3.5/4*30=26.25

5. 取四个scaled scores的平均分就是你的口语最后得分 例如： (26.25+30+18.75+26.25) / 4=25.31

了解的评分标准之后，最重要的当然还是练习。毕竟“Practice makes perfect!”
