摘要:
Notions on climatic change settle among quasi{ equilibrium response, stochastic resonance and chan- ce. Focussing on regular behaviour, the former hy- pothesis appears to inhere a system controlled by its slow subsystems and forcing, respectively, and em- bracing more or less stable oscillators. Self{organized dynamics are borne in the short scales, in contrast. The more advanced such a system along its route(s) to chaos the higher its sensitivity, in general, and the less energy should be required to keep it under con- trol. Weak stabilizing interference is primarily exer- ted by the sun, as the most regular pacemaker at interannual to centennial scales of interest here. Not only doesn't this contradict the hypothesis of anthro- pogenic climate change: paradoxically, even a more pronounced signature of the sun might be expected if man's thermal impact drives the system into states of ever higher dynamic excitation. Speaking of the self{ organizing aspects of present{day climate dynamics, the Man{or{Sun controversy might thus be concep- tually resolved in a chaos control hypothesis.
