About Code Review Tools for Trac

it's surprising that Trac does not have a proper code review plugin (at least for 0.11.1).

a number of tools are there (http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/CodeReview), but they are either not maintained, nor support 0.11.1.

I even think about using some online notes plugin for firefox, that by opening a certian page, some notes would pop up directly. Yet even that does not exists.

Essentially, I think what I really need is just to mark down some comments for certain lines on the changeset. Finally I decided to assign a mini-task to the team for this.

btw, I found the article called '11 Best Practices for Peer Code Review' , though it's heavily biased to the tools (consider the article is produced by a code quality tool company), a lot of points there still stands sound and valid.

Though most ppl know the importance of code review, but not every one could do it right, or do it in a most appropriate way. According to white paper, the rhythm and mechanism are the key towards to light weighted code review, and 'lightwieght code reviews take 1/5 the time (or less!) of formal reviews and they find just as many bugs'.
