这是我在公司写的指导文档，所以是英文的，水平有点低，勿喷....IP 地址均为临时使用的，但都实验成功。


1.Setup TFTP file server by run Cisco TFTP Serversoftware, or other TFTP Server software(e.g.SolarWindsTFTPServer) and set the root directory.

2.Copy the running-config file for the switchwhich before stored to the rootdirectory of the TFTP server.

3.Connect new Switch to TFTP server with Ethernet port, to laptop/PC with console port.

(the second method only need one PC ,It’s aPractical solution.) configure the IP address setting of the PC that running TFTPserver software.

4.Run Putty as the following configuration .

5.Power on the Switch, follow the initial configuration dialog guide. Configure the switch.

Or input “NO” Skip the step, and then configureVLAN1 .

The IP address forVLAN1 must be in same subnet with the IP address of PC that running TFTPSoftware.

6.Use “copy TFTP startup-config” to copy the running –config file to nvram afterenter EXEC mode. Commands as the above picture shows.

7.Power off the switch. use it to replace the specified one. Then power on the switch. Replacement Done.
