[原]CentOS 6.2（32位）如何使用YUM源更新的方法

之前一直用RedHat el5 server做服务器使用，但是Redhat的yum需要在线更新是需要收费的，所以后来换了CentOS 6.2版本，但是要想使用它的yum功能，还需要做一些其他的改动，以下是具体的内容：

1、 首先，由于公司需要使用代理才可以上外网，所以需要配置 一下yum的配置才可以和外界互联网连接，具体方法是：

        修改/etc/yum.conf文件，在该文件的后面加上代理服务器ip及端口，如果有用户名和密码的话，也要加上，没有的话就不用了：

proxy=http://ip:port
proxy_username=username
proxy_password=password

2、 更改yum源，我们使用网易的CentOS镜像源：

# cd /etc/yum.repos.d/
# wget  http://mirrors.163.com/.help/CentOS6-Base-163.repo
# vi CentOS6-Base-163.repo

        sohu的yum源：wget http://mirrors.sohu.com/help/CentOS-Base-sohu.repo

        如果第二步wget不可用的话，可以直接在浏览器中得到.repo配置文件。
        编辑文件，把文件里面的$releasever全部替换为版本号，即6 最后保存！或者直接把下面的内存拷贝到CentOS6-Base-163.repo文件中即可（已经修改好）：

3、 清理yum缓存：

# yum clean all
# yum makecache     #将服务器上的软件包信息缓存到本地,以提高搜索安装软件的速度
# yum install vim*    #测试域名是否可用

        至此，Redhat6可以使用CentOS的yum源在线安装软件了！

4、 安装插件：

        最后，可以考虑装个插件，yum install yum-fastestmirror -y，这个会自动选择快的那个源。

       

        如果我在那个目录里放了很多源，怎么知道当前用的是那个呢？如果你没有改yum.conf，那么看/var/cache/yum/文件夹里的一个time开头的文件，就知道了。
