oracle database 11...,Oracle Database 11.1.0.7 Released

经过一段时间的等待，Oracle Database 11g Patchset1 11.1.0.7 release了

自从去年OOW上11g发布，接近一年的时间已经过去了，自己也有幸参与和负责11106，11107RAC在Solaris64平台上的质量保证工作。

目前在主流的平台包括AIX5L，HPUX-IA64，Linux-x86-64，SOLARIS64，Win32上的11107都已经提供下载，patch number是6890831。

顺便介绍一下Oracle的patchset命名方法，前几天在CU上有人问起这个。

Oracle 10.2的第一个版本是10.2.0.1

第一个patchset (patchset1)就是10.2.0.2

第二个patchset (patchset2)就是10.2.0.3

当然第三个patchset(patchset3)就是10.2.0.4

同理适用于11g

11gR1的第一个patchset就是11.1.0.7 (patchset1，而不是patchset6，因为11.1的第一个公开版本就是11.1.0.6，当然有些朋友就问了，为什么没有 11.1.0.1, 11.1.0.2等等，其实11.1.0.1 – 11.1.0.5都是有的，只是没有公开的内部beta版本而已)
