1. input scim (Usually, it is the default package when you install fedora)

2. install scim-tables-chinese (install chinese tables input method)

yum install scim-tables-chinese

3. edit sh under /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/xinput.sh

add en at the end of this statement:

language_list="as bn gu hi ja kn ko ml mr ne or pa si ta te th ur vi zh"

4. For active the configuration every start up, run these commands

mkdir ~/.xinput.d

ln -s /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/scim ~/.xinput.d/default

5. restart computer

在终端(控制台)输入以下命令：

yum install scim* -y

意思是按装所有输入法。

yum install scim-tables-chinese -y

安装中文输入法。

我安装的是英文版的FC8，用了两天的英文输入法，发现不用中文还是不得行滴。所以还是决定安装一个中文的输入法，还好我在安装系统的时候选择了中文语言的支持，所以系统给我装好了中文的输入法。

选择System -> Preferences -> Personal -> Input Method，在弹出的对话框中钩选 Enable input method feature。点击 Input method preferences，如果不能点击，请注销并重新登陆再打开这个对话框。在 IMEngine Global Setup 里面选择 Chinese (Simplified) 其它两个看自己喜好，然后 Apply。将 Panel GTK 里面的 Show 由 on demand 改为 Always 然后 Apply。其它设置看自己喜好。

最后，选择OK并重新登陆！

PS: 如果在安装的时候没有选择安装中文语言支持，就得进入root用户在 Applications 里面选择 Add/Remove Software 搜索 scim 然后选择安装以下软件包：

scim-devel-1.4.7-7.fc8

scim-doc-1.4.7-7.fc8

scim-gtk-1.4.7-7.fc8

再进行以上步骤！

输入法切换快捷键：

Shift：本地语言(中文)与英文输入切换。(注意：按下和释放不要太快,linux反应好像慢了点?)

Control+period：全/半角标点符号切换.

Shift+space :全/半角字母切换

一直以来智能ABC是我打字最重要的软体

当然要想很好的控制它需要一点点的技巧性。

大家一定都认识智能ABC里面的月亮吧。

shift+空格就能变成全月亮

当然旁边那个家伙一个是句号和逗号我非常头疼。

一直以来我都不知道是怎样切换(不用鼠标)

今天我对它很生气。我很早就知道切换这个家伙是用

但是我不知道period是哪个键

今天我才发现是句号键。

也就是ctrl+句号键就能完成切换了
