have/take a shott字面意思是打一枪(或者射一箭)，引申为试试看；过着去做(打、夺等)。所以I'lI have a shot at it.表面看来是开一枪，但实际却是：我试试看吧。

再补充一下，have a clear shot at doing sth是说比较有可能(或有把据，有机会，等等)能做到某件事。类似的还可以说have/take a good shot at,give sb./sth.a shot(给……一个机会)。

看看老外聊天时怎么用：

A:Mick，can you help me take a look at my PC.It doesn't work.

密克，你能帮我看看我的电脑吗？它出故障了。

B:OK.I'll have a shot at it.

好的。我试试看吧。
