A shunt active power filte r based on the theory of instantaneous reactive power is designed, which is used to control the harmonics of three-phase rectifier circuit. Active Power Filter use the & - & method to detect the currents,and the command calculation circuk calculates the current to be compensated. The control scheme of shunt active power filte r is based on space vector pulse width modulation (S V P W M ) technique. F inally, using matlab simulation toolbox sim ulink verifies the feasibility to the design.
