Good morning, interviewers:(to share proj, roles, work nature inthe proj,)

It’s a greet honor to give me this opportunity to communicate with all of you. My name is ***, it has been more than 10 years since i graduated from univerity. I have been a Java development engieer for 4 years and a test development engieer for more than 5 years, because of interest, I have changed from coder to tester.

In my most recent testing career, I work for Hang Seng Bank with standing instruction project. which is a bank instruction and support regular transfers to our bank, other banks and international banks.

During this period of work, my work is mainly divided into two parts， basically, I’m mainly responsible for functional testing. design, write and review test plans, test cases with our team parters; prepare test data with other OBS team, and execute test cases to make sure the project is handled over to SIT or UAT with high quality.

Secondly， I’m focus on writing UI automated script with Java, Appium, cucumber and PO design pattern, the script has cover about 95% test cases to help find some problems that were missed by manual testing， to support for more regression testing and so on. We do API automation testing with Java + cucumber + httpClient too.

1. Do you cover Copy in your automation testing, if yes, please share the details
   now, the COPY is not coverd in our automation testing, but we have discuss it in our team, firstly, we should write the COPY into a file with .csv format, then seek coder’s help to add id in the related element, we can compare the real copy with the expected copy in CSV to check if it’s right or not
2. How do you design and write your automation test cases?
   Actually, I’m responsible for system testing and manual testing, there are many cases designed before execute them, So when we do auto testing, we will choise some of them to as automation test cases, By now, it’s cover about 90% of manual test cases
3. How do you judge the typed value is the expected one?
4. firstly, we should make sure the input is blank, with clear() method, then send_keys with the param, after this, we should get the actual typed value with text(), compare it with the parameter, if both of them are equal, then the typed value is the expected one.
