Introduced the numerical control engine bed characteristic, the composition and the classification, and introduced programmable controller (PLC) in the numerical control engine bed application. Introduced with emphasis the grinder survey, as well as the modern numerical control grinder characteristic, and has carried on with PLC to the automatic grinder electrical system transformation.

制造业是生产物质财富的产业，机床是制造业的主要生产设备，制造 业中的绝大多数零件都直接或间接地经过机床加工，固此机床(也称工作母机)是制造业的基础。在传统制造业中，对于大批量生产的产品，往往采用组合机床等专用机床组成的自动或半自动生产线；对于单件或小批量生产的产品，一般采用通用机床加工。随着科学技术的不断发展和社会生产力的不断提高，市场对机械产品的要求越来越高，不仅要求提高产品的质量水平，而且要求加快产品更撕换代的速度．这样就导致了现代制造业中多品种、中小批量生产的比重不断增加。在这样的情况下，再采用传统的加工机床就显得不合理了．这主要体现在两个方面：应用专用机床生产线生产准备周期长、费用高、产品不易更新(有时甚至不可能实现产品更新)；应用通用机床则无法大幅度地提高生产效率或精确地控制产品质量，同时通用机床也无法加工一些复杂度和精度要求很高的小批量生产的产品
