input date好吗_「截止到XX日的数据」标准的说法是什么？千万别说by XX(date）

截止至3月20日，美国标准普尔500指数已经从最高点下跌32%

工作中我们经常需要发各种报表，一定会用到如「截止到今天的数据」「截止到昨天的数据」「截止到3月21日的数据」这样的说法。

这个「截止到…」英语怎么说呢？

有人用by：

- Please provide the data by today(X)。

这是什么鬼，是表示「请今天之前提供数据」好吗？

也不是until，更不是deadline。

我们先来说「截止到今天」。

很好办，就是到目前为止，那就是so far。

还有一个你可能想不到的表达是 to date，出现的频率非常高，也容易让人摸不着头脑，因为没有出现today，但这里的date默认就是指说话时的date，= so far。

- Please provide the data to date。

- 请提供截止到今天的数据。

- confirmed cases to date

- 目前为止所有确诊病例。

- To date, we have yet to receive any feedback.

- 目前我们还没收到任何反馈。

- Please ship me all stock you have to date.

- 请把你目前所有的库存品都寄给我。

和to date搭配的使用的还有下面这些词组，都是商务英语里很最常见的搭配：

• MTD = month to date 从本月初开始截止到今天
• YTD= year to date 从年初开始截止到今天

比如

• sales MTD ：本月累计销量
• earnings YTD：今年累计收益
• growth YTD：今年1-11月的增长(假设现在是12月，由于经济数据每月统计一次，YTD一般指截止到最新一次统计)

好了，问题来了，那「截止到昨天」，「截止到XX日」，怎么说呢，难不成说to yesterday, to XX(date)？

商务英语里最标准的说法是是用 as of 表示截止到某一天。

例：

- Attached please find the data as of yesterday.

- 附件是截止到昨天的数据。

- Please send me the invoices as of the end of last month.

- 把截止到上个月的发票发给我。

- As of 3/15, what are our total sales?

- 截止到3月15，我们的总销量是多少？

国外媒体制作的信息图里，一般都会备注数据截止到XX日，就是用 as of XX(date)，如下图。

当然，as of today = to date。

还可以用 as of now表示 到现在为止。

例：

- We are having a tough year, but as of now, we are still the biggest player of the market.

- 虽然今年对我们来说是困难的一年，但目前我们市场占有率依然保持第一。

值得注意的是，as of在实际使用中有两种意思，既可以是起点截止到参考点(from beginning to …) ，也可以是从参考点作为一个起点往后开始(starting from …)= from XX(date) on，要根据上下文来理解。

例：

- The regulation takes effect as of today.

- 本规定即日起生效。

- He will be no longer here as of 3/29.

- 他从3月20日起将不会在这里了。

- You are officially my wife as of today.

- 从今天开始，你就正式成为我的妻子。
